The Orlando Magic fall in overtime 126 to 119 on the road against the Golden State Warriors. That one stings.
Franz Wagner did everything he could. He scored 30 points on eleven of twenty-two shooting and handed out 11 assists. Wendell Carter Junior added 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Cain gave us 18 points and 12 rebounds off the bench. Anthony Black scored 18 with four steals and three blocks.
Stephen Curry was the difference. He dropped 41 points on thirteen of nineteen shooting. He went five of ten from three and ten of ten at the free throw line. Yaxel Lendeborg added 23 points. Draymond Green scored just two, but he dished out 13 assists.
Now the team numbers. Orlando made forty-three of one hundred thirteen from the floor. Golden State also made forty-three, but on only eighty shots. From three, the Magic went eighteen of fifty-four. The Warriors went fifteen of thirty-two. Orlando crushed the offensive glass, 24 offensive rebounds to just three. It still was not enough.
Well Magic fans, getting beat by a superstar are just things that happen and tonight Steph Curry was certainly a super star like most nights. Hopefully we can get a win against the Sacramento Kings on the 10th. See you then Magic Fans.
Go Magic!
